The COZY Builders Mailing List
I've set up a mailing list (maintained manually at this point) for
sharing and distribution of COZY related information and general
communication between COZY builders. As of 4/11/2009, we have:
598 members
This has been growing on a regular basis since I put notices in
the "COZY" and "Central States" Newsletters in April, 1995
and set up these WEB pages. The members range from prospective
builders who just have info paks, to those with 700 hours or more on
flying COZY aircraft. Some of us are building stock COZY's, while some
are implementing numerous modifications. We have members from
various countries, including:
Jon Matcho has created some very
interesting graphical representations of mailing list member distributions, both
world and USA. This can greatly help people visualize where other builders
flyers are in relation to them.

Here's a
Sorted List
of member categories, as of January, 2003. You may NOT obtain Mailing List Member's
names and addresses either from these web pages, or from me - the
member list is confidential and NOT for commercial use.
You may reach me by e-mail at
marc_zeitlin@alum.mit.edu
for more information regarding the mailing
list. If you fit into one of the following categories:
- Flying a COZY
- Building a COZY
- Have the COZY Plans
- Have ordered the COZY Plans
- Have the COZY info pak, and seriously considering getting the plans
- Really, really, want to build a COZY if you can convince the spouse
- Buying an already built COZY
Also allowed with special restrictions:
- Vendor of COZY parts or services (no advertising allowed!!)
- Building or flying an AeroCanard, VariEze, Long-EZ, Defiant, Velocity or Berkut
(needs special dispensation for membership :-) )
and would like to be on the mailing list,
include the following information and please contact me at
the email address listed above.
Please indicate into which of the categories you fit. Also, please
include:
- Your home address (so that nearby members may bother you
incessantly by coming over to your house)
- Your phone number (so that the rest of us who live further
away may do the same)
- Special skills (that you'd like to share with
the rest of us)
- Your build status (what chapter you're on, if you're
already building a COZY)
When you have done this, we will add you to the list and you will
receive an e-mail address for the list as a whole, as well as
instructions for using it.
