Mine seems to have a considerable amount of play in the handle and shaft. Removing it after putting in the Long EZ floor panel will be a major pain in the neck! From: "John Stricker" Subject: COZY: RE:Cozy List, Weatherhead Valve Date: Wed, 3 Jun 1998 07:53:16 -0500 I'm not using it in an a/c, but I use the Weatherhead in some of my trucks and I would never use it in an a/c I fly. Their only saving grace is price, and IMHO the fuel system is not a place to be pinching pennies. Some of the problems I've had include O-ring swelling (probably due to picking up some fuel with a high alcohol content, not likely with avgas) making the valve very hard to turn. Handles tend to want to fall off after the screws that hold them on vibrate out. Slop in the handle valve region after some use. Internal leakage (Off may not be off, and if you have it selected to left you may still draw some from the right etc.) Now in my farm trucks, these are minor annoyances, but in an airplane............ .
