Nat,
I'm sure I am late on this one but.... The company mentioned in the plans is
gone, the NAPA parts store don't have the parts mentioned in the archives.
So I have a new part. Its Mighty Lift. 15" 60LB is E95784 or 14.5" 40LB is
E95293. Both include the ball studs. 784 is $19.99 and 293 is $24.99. Hope
this helps.

Clark

I bought mine from www.Mcmaster.com
IIRC, $10 for the spring and $2-3 for the ends. They have ball studs and
brackets, too. I was able to get one to match the plans spec, except
0.03" shorter, for half of the cost.

Great Job Howard! I very much like this setup!

The only problem I could see is that Mocal is a European Manufacturer.
But I did find an importer here in the US:

http://www.batinc.net/main.htm

They list Mocal as a line they carry, but I don't know what their prices
look like...

Anyway, I have some time before I need to worry about this, but I'll add it
to my growing database of ideas.

Thanks Howard!

Best Regards,

Jeff

Thanks to the group..
How hot does your oil get? How hot should these be rated?

The MOCAL pump seems about identical to one from Tilton. This pump (about
$180-$200) is available with BUNA and Viton (+$30 or so) seals. The
following links are sources for the Tilton pump.
http://www.drpperformance.com/_store/Display_Products.asp?ProdID=TILT1080&Action=dept&Style=Style1&Price=0
http://vacmotorsports.com/cgi-bin/gen_cat.pl?item=252#Differential%20Cooling
BUNA https://secure.vbcomm.net/store/detail.asp?part=17%2D522
Viton https://secure.vbcomm.net/store/detail.asp?part=17%2D523
http://www.carshopinc.com/product/details/TIL-40-524.shtml
http://www.colemanracing.com/section/index.htp?id=525

Additionally, a pump from Clark seems ideal, lighter though perhaps not as
rugged. I was quoted $258 for this pump:
http://www.clarksol.com/html/prodspecsMGGearPumpDC.htm

One other pump, from Gorman-Rupp, was praised and chosen by Richard Riley.
This pump would have to pressurize the lines and cooler (though minimally)
to function: The hottest rating is 205def F.
