Swagelok makes AL, brass and SS fittings with 37 degree mating ends (as well as the old 45's), adapters and just about anything you can dream up. Same straight-tubing connectors you describe. I think price is about the same. They are on the web at : http://www.swagelok.com (Thanks JD) Larry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marc J. Aerocad's pants are $220 (might fit 6.00x6 tires - Jeff can speak up here as to whether there's more than one size that he sells). Featherlite's wheel pants were either $215 or $231 as of Nov. 2000, depending upon which page you look at. (Featherlite's price list is on Nat's web page at): http://www.cozyaircraft.com/ Click on "Links", then "Authorized Suppliers", then "Featherlite COZY IV Parts and Price List as of May '01". I know that the Lightspeed pant are the pressure recovery style - don't know about the other two. Hope this helps - I've got to figure out which ones to go with as well (or just make my own.....). -- Marc J. Zeitlin mailto:marc_zeitlin@alum.mit.edu http://users.rcn.com/marc.zeitlin/ From ???@??? He is in Southwestern Iowa, in the little village of Brighton, which is within driving distance of you. He does beautiful work. My O-360 fits nicely in my Cozy engine compartment with no need for the oil filter adapter because I have the single mag hole accessory case that has a spin-on filter that still clears the firewall by 3-inches when installed. Larry will build the engine as far as you want. Mine had a lightweight Lycoming starter, no mags, no fuel system, no prop governor, no spark plugs, no alternator, hyperbolic lifters with recontoured camshaft, painted in my colors with chrome rocker covers, and internal crankcase mods that the aerobatic guys do. Price was $15,000 delivered by his pickup to my hangar in Illinois. The other engine I has done by him was an IO-360. It too was "improved" with the crankcase mods, and completely overhauled. Did you ask me about it when I had it for sale last year? If you would like a copy of my Cozy engine specs, I can e-mail you a copy. It will help you get started. Larry recently pickup 50 engines from the Univ. of Illinois when they closed their maintenance training school. He is rebuilding them for sale, so he is well stocked. He just emailed me a picture of his new engine runup stand. Larry is a one-man shop so all major rework and inspecting is done by outside vendors, like ECI in San Antonio, so every part can have a yellow tag with it, if you ask for it in your spec sheet. Larry tears down the engines, sends all the parts out for overhaul & testing, and then rebuilds them when all the parts get back. So this can add time and cost to a job, but he only uses the best shops for his parts. Larry Conway Aircraft Engine Resources, L.C. 408 W. You can find Widder at www.widder.com I think they sell heated socks as well as their other gear. They also sell a thermostat which used to be a big variable resistor, but I believe is finally a variable pulse width regulator. Wouldn't be hard to build your own regulator if you had to. Anyway, all their gear is 12V and should work fine in our application.
